Lucille (Lucie) B Parish passed away November 22nd, 2016 at her home in Hood River, Oregon, with her daughter Tish Parmeley by her side. Lucie was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Jack and Vera (Sprague) Bennett. She had a brother John and a sister Jean, both deceased. She moved from Pittsburgh to Wheaton, Maryland with her second husband Kenneth Parish. They both worked for the Internal Revenue Service until they retired to Brevard and later Asheville, North Carolina. Lucie loved music and was a wonderful singer. She loved swimming and the friendships she made in water aerobic classes. She did needlepoint, cross stitch and origami. She was a talented baker, particularly good with pie dough. Lucie had a large collection of frogs,gifted by many friends over the years. She always said frog stands for Forever Rely On God. In lieu of flowers, please take a friend to lunch!
